Our Story

Andrea Versaw is an award-winning esthetician and the founder of Waves to Woods Skin Care, a boutique studio offering luxury, results-driven, and educational skincare experiences in Santa Cruz, California. In 2025, Andrea was voted Santa Cruz’s Favorite Esthetician by The Lookout Santa Cruz, and Waves to Woods Skin Care was also honored alongside Simply Skin Esthetics as Best Waxing in Santa Cruz by Good Times—a testament to her precision, consistency, and commitment to exceptional client care.

Andrea holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies from San Jose State University and is a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), allowing her to blend clinical awareness with clear communication and compassionate, client-centered care. She completed over 600 hours of professional esthetics training at The Salon Professional Academy in Saratoga, CA, and holds advanced certifications including Dermaplane Pro and Berodin Wax.

Andrea believes effective skincare goes beyond treatments—it’s about education, intention, and long-term skin health. She specializes in customized facials, corrective skincare treatments, dermaplaning, and professional waxing, addressing concerns such as acne, aging, sensitivity, hyperpigmentation, and uneven texture. Each service is thoughtfully tailored, combining advanced techniques with a holistic, nature-inspired approach to deliver visible results while protecting skin integrity.
